Castlevania: Nocturne will return for a second season, as Netflix has announced. The animated series, which has captivated viewers with its dark atmosphere and gripping plot, will return for a new season that promises to be even more epic than the first.
Following the success of the first season, which was acclaimed for its well-developed characters, high-quality animation and homage to the famous “Castlevania” video game franchise, fans were eagerly awaiting news of the sequel.

The series premiered on the streaming platform on September 28. All eight episodes of Castlevania: Nocturne are currently Netflix! Here’s the synopsis:
France, 1792 – the height of the French Revolution. In a remote part of western France, the counter-revolutionary aristocracy has forged an alliance with a terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to ‘eat the sun’ and unleash an army of vampires and nightcreatures to crush the revolution and enslave humanity. Annette, a sorceress from the Caribbean, seeks out Richter Belmont, last descendant of the long-fabled family of vampire hunters, to lead the resistance.
